Salty Girl of the Month - Lisa Jones Silvers

Lisa grew up in Georgia fishing on an open faced reel on rivers, ponds and creeks.  Her favorite place to fish is in Tennessee is on what they call 58.  Lisa’s most unusual catch is a very huge River turtle.  Her favorite thing to have on the boat is sun tan lotion and sunflower seeds!  And yes, my friends, she loves to spit them!  lol

Lisa loves to catch and release largemouth bass and her favorite fish to eat is Talapia.

Lisa loves to Carolina Rig fish using a watermelon ZOOM brush hog and she has caught most of her fish by c-rigging.  Lisa’s most memorable moment fishing is when she caught so many bass last year!

Lisa and a friend won a tournament in Tennessee on 58  in 2009.   They won money plus Lisa won the biggest fish caught.  She was also the only female in the tournament and she was proud!
